RESIDENCE PERMIT
Short-term work permits are designed for foreign workers undertaking work for up to 180 days. A short-term work permit must be accompanied by a special pass for initial entry into Tanzania and a residence permit to reside in Tanzania for up to 180 days.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
The following quintessential documents must be submitted interalia with the application –
- Application form
- Application letter
- Work Permit issued by Labour Commissioner
- Registration certificates from the host company
- Memorandum and Articles of Association or Extract from Registrar showing Company shareholders, share distribution and nominal capital of the company
- Certificate of incorporation from the host company
- Business license from the host company
- Certificate of registration for Taxpayers (TIN) from the host company
- Tax clearance certificate from the host company
- Tax payment slips from the host company
